Terms of Service
Effective 10 August 2026
These terms govern your use of betterbot.fi, the BetterBot Pro report subscription, and any interaction with the BBOT token. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What BetterBot is
BetterBot is an automated forecasting system that takes positions in event-contract markets operated by Kalshi, a designated contract market regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. It is not a sportsbook, not a bookmaker, and does not accept stakes from users.
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing here is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security. The published record, including accuracy and profit-and-loss figures, describes past results. Past results do not predict future results.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use this service where you live. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. We may decline or terminate service at our discretion.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Stripe. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers. Plans renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; access continues until then. Reports already delivered are not refundable, because delivery is the entire performance of the contract and cannot be undone.
4. Report licence — personal and non-transferable
Your subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for one named subscriber to read the Pro report. That is all it grants. The licence cannot be sold, assigned, sublicensed, shared, pooled, or passed to anyone else, including within a household, group, syndicate, firm, or company.
Without our prior written permission you may not:
- forward, republish, post, upload, stream, or otherwise distribute a report or any part of it, in any medium, whether or not for payment;
- share your download link, login, or account with any other person;
- reproduce a report's substance in a derivative summary, feed, alert, channel, or bot; or
- remove, obscure, or alter any watermark, fingerprint, notice, or metadata.
Each report is generated uniquely for you at the moment you download it. Every copy carries a visible watermark naming the licensee and an embedded fingerprint recording the subscriber email, the IP address and browser used to retrieve it, and the timestamp. Any copy in circulation therefore identifies the account it came from.
5. Unauthorised distribution and liquidated damages
You agree that unauthorised distribution will be pursued in court. The reports are our confidential work product and the subscription price is set on the assumption that each licence serves one reader. Redistribution destroys that value in a way that cannot be measured after the fact: we cannot know how many people read a leaked copy, which of them would otherwise have subscribed, or for how long the loss continues.
Because the actual damage from redistribution is impracticable and extremely difficult to fix, and following California Civil Code section 1671, you and BetterBot agree in advance that a reasonable estimate of that damage is not less than $10,000 (ten thousand United States dollars) for each copy distributed, published, or otherwise made available in breach of clause 4. This sum is liquidated damages, agreed as a genuine pre-estimate of loss and not as a penalty, and is payable per copy and per breach.
Liquidated damages are in addition to, and not in place of, injunctive relief and any other remedy available to us. Nothing in this clause limits our right to pursue copyright, trade-secret, or contract claims, or to recover the legal fees and costs of enforcement.
6. Free subscriptions for BBOT holders
A wallet holding at least $1,000 of BBOT, valued at the published net asset value per token, may claim a subscription at no charge. Claiming requires signing a message to prove control of the wallet. Signing costs nothing, moves nothing, and grants no spending permission.
Eligibility is re-checked daily against the on-chain balance. A subscription claimed this way is subject to clauses 4 and 5 in full, and is cancelled if the wallet falls below the threshold or if the claim cannot be verified.
7. BBOT and the vault
BBOT is an SPL token on Solana with a fixed supply. Tokens may be purchased from the treasury at the prevailing net asset value and sold on the open market. There is no redemption right: the vault does not buy tokens back, and the market price may trade above or below net asset value.
The vault takes real positions with real capital and can lose money. Net asset value can fall. There is no floor, no guarantee of profit, and no assurance that a market for BBOT will exist or remain liquid.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, probe or disrupt it, interfere with another user's access, or use it to break the law. Published pages may be read and cited; systematically harvesting the site to reconstitute the subscription product is a breach of clause 4.
9. Availability, warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that reports will be delivered on time, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that any figure is free of error.
To the fullest extent the law allows, BetterBot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this clause may not apply to you.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and BetterBot submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, and you waive any objection to venue in those courts.
If any provision is held unenforceable, it is severed and the rest remains in force.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continued use after that date is acceptance. Questions and permission requests go to legal@betterbot.fi.
